I refuse to be cantankerous. My roadside is here and my dreamtime is now -- and this is a virtue I'm willing to case an argument for -- this is something I won't let you win -- and sometimes, I think -- perhaps that's childish of me -- and sometimes, I think, the present is in the now, and here with this silver cup -- this is all I have as a barricade between myself and the rest of the world.
