If you want to see where I *really* live on the Internet, you should check out the Gopher Protocol. Some of my friends like to make fun of me for my obsession with this old-school technology, but I can't help it. I enjoy the nostalgia of playing in the protocol I used to first explore the Internet in the early 1990s, and I am comforted by the "underground" aura of the whole thing.

On my Gopher Site, I keep a regular "phlog" (which is a little like a "blog," except on Gopher), I post a lot of my writing, favorite quotes, songs I'm listening to, books I'm reading, and tons of other random bits. You are definitely welcome to poke around if you have a browser that can read the Gopher protocol. Firefox is generally Gopher-friendly, and many other browsers are, as well.
